Vista Eye Care was proud to offer help to a local organization called “Growing Home.”  From Growing Home’s website:

Growing Home is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a thriving and equitable north Denver metro, one family at a time. Growing Home’s participant-centered approach to strengthening families, nurturing children and connecting community fills a critical gap for families and children who are experiencing immediate and long-term barriers to stability and success. Through evidenced-based programs, Growing Home improves outcomes for children, their parents and their community. Growing Home’s model makes the organization a leader in the two-generation approach to poverty alleviation and community equity.

Our patients and staff donated various hygiene products to help folks in need.  We collected items such as toothpaste, shampoo, soap, and hairbrushes.  We sorted the hygiene products and delivered them to Growing Home so that they can distribute them to families in need!  Thank you so much to Kathy for making the donation bins and to Dr. Pedroza for organizing the collection and delivery efforts.  Here are some pictures of us sorting out the donations:
