Dr. Melissa Vanray, O.D.

Dr. Melissa Vanray is an optometrist passionate about providing comprehensive eye care to diverse populations. With a strong background in clinical optometry and a commitment to serving communities, Dr. Vanray brings a wealth of experience to Vista Eye Care.

Dr. Vanray earned her degree in biology from Bowling Green State University before pursuing her Doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. After completing her education, she further honed her skills by completing a residency with Indian Health Services in Kayenta, Arizona.
During her residency, Dr. Vanray served the Native American population for five years, gaining invaluable experience managing a wide range of eye health issues.

After years of service in Arizona, Dr. Vanray moved to Denver with her husband and their beloved dog, Dusty.

Dr. Vanray enjoys Colorado's outdoor lifestyle when she's not in the clinic. She loves hiking, baking, and skiing—activities that keep her connected to the beautiful surroundings of her new home. Dr. Vanray’s extensive experience makes her a valued member of the team.
