A Journey of Growth and Commitment to Eye Care
Vista Eye Care’s journey began in 2010 when Dr. Brian Abert and Dr. Deanna Pedroza, both passionate optometrists, decided to bring their shared dream of patient-centered eye care to life. After meeting in optometry school in California, the couple relocated to Thornton, Colorado, where Dr. Pedroza had grown up. They opened the doors to their first practice — a small office with just one exam room — and began serving the local community.

Dr. Abert officially opens the doors of Vista Eye Care in Thornton, CO.
The original office space was compact, with a modest optical area.
As word spread about our exceptional care, the practice grew rapidly. Patients appreciated the personalized attention and advanced technology we incorporated into our practice. In response to this growth, we moved to a larger, state-of-the-art facility designed to accommodate the expanding needs of our patients while maintaining the welcoming atmosphere we are known for.
