For the second year in a row, Vista Eye Care promoted children’s eye care at Prairie Hills Elementary School’s Family Fun Night. Dr. Brian Abert was accompanied by Vista Eye Care’s optical manager Kelly, and lab technician Madison. We spoke with dozens of parents about children’s eye care, and had fun doing it! Please enjoy these pictures from the event:
Dr. Abert won one of the raffle baskets, and it was filled with beer, BBQ classes, and beef jerky. Cool!
The BBQ at the event was catered by none other than Over-the-Fence BBQ! Over-the-Fence has been catering Vista Eye Care’s own open house events each Fall, and we look forward to seeing them this September for our third annual event!
Madison and Kelly did a fantastic job spreading the word about the importance of children’s eye care.
Dr. Deanna Pedroza, Nathan, Kelly, Madison, and a (grumpy) Sophia pose for a picture!
Dr. Abert poses with this 11-month old son Nathan who stopped by the booth (and his future elementary school!) to say hi.
Dr. Brian Abert tries on the crazy glasses that we used to demonstrate what it is like to try to live with a large refractive error.
We had a great time promoting early-life eye care to the students and parents of Prairie Hills Elementary School. We look forward to attending the event again next year!
